Under the guidance of the Health Officer, the Prevention and Community Health Servies Director will provide clinical oversight and direction of public health programs focused on disease control and prevention services, reproductive health, adolescent health clinics and other public health programs as assigned. Supervises and provides leadership to a multi-disciplinary professional staff ensuring continuity of day-to-day operations in public health programs. Assists and provides guidance to program supervisors and coordinators with clinical coordination and scheduling. This position is responsible for program compliance to local, state, and federal requirements ensuring policies, guidelines and grant funding obligations are met within the local county health department operating framework.
