The Michigan ACE Initiative is pleased to announce the 2022 Michigan ACE Initiative Conference and welcome our keynote speaker, Dr. Rishi Manchanda, CEO of HealthBegins. As we move from awareness and downstream treatments to upstream prevention through an equity lens, Dr. Manchanda will share his journey as a national leader in this movement and how we can all learn to improve the social drivers of health and equity at all levels. His keynote will be followed by two panels of Michigan experts sharing their own experiences and best practices in the upstream prevention of ACEs.
The health and safety of our attendees is our top priority. Subject to health and safety protocols, we are planning to bring our communities together in person to discuss the most current ACEs information. (No virtual option is available at this time.) We will continue to update our website with any event details that may be affected by Covid-19.
Continuing Education Credits are being sought for nurses.
Social Work Credits: This course is approved by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative-Approval #04202200. A total of 3.5 CE hours have been approved. The Collaborative is the approving body for the Michigan Board of Social Work.
SCECH Credits: The Michigan Department of Education has approved this course for 3.0 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs).
