2023 Climate Communications Bootcamp Application
APHA is partnering with the National Center for Healthy Housing, National Environmental Health Partnership Council and the Environmental Health & Equity Collaborative to offer a Climate Communications Bootcamp, with both in-person and virtual options.
This training aims to build skills around delivering key climate and health messaging, as well as communication and engagement with policymakers, media and other key audiences. The second day of the training will culminate in a Capitol Hill visit for participants interested in putting their new skills into practice in meetings at the U.S. congressional offices in D.C or virtually.
Fill out this application form if you are interested in participating in-person or virtually. There will be a $100 registration fee you will be asked to pay if you are accepted to participate in the in-person training, and a $50 registration fee for the virtual option. Scholarships will be available for those who need them.
Applications will close Jan. 5, 2023.
The in-person training will occur on Feb. 14-15, 2023 at RESOLVE (2445 M St NW, Washington, DC 20037). The virtual training will occur on Feb. 21-22, 2023. More details on the time of event to follow.
