The Great Lakes Conference on Food Protection(GFCFP), Association of Food and Drug Officials(AFDO), and the Michigan Environmental Health Association(MEHA) have come together to provide this premier training opportunity for Retail Food HACCP. This workshop comes from Dr. Ben Chapman and his team at NC State University who are a trusted source for regulators, industry, and academics alike. It will focus on the HACCP basics as well as the next steps of how to validate and verify in the field. All of these items have been identified as training needs and this workshop is geared towards local regulators.
This will be a hybrid workshop with approximately 6 hours completed on-line prior to the class.
When: Tuesday, March 14th, 2023 as a pre-conference workshop at the MEHA AEC in Port Huron.
Time: 9-5PM
Cost: $50 per person. The rest is being covered by the GLCFP/AFDO/MEHA partnership
