MDARD has arranged for a free advanced media training course for local health department PIOs. The course will be held Wednesday, June 13, at the Kent County Health Department in Grand Rapids. The training will be provided by Brad Wurfel, Director, Kandler Reed Khoury and Muchmore. Brad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in media relations and crisis communications. There will also be time for a limited number of people to practice on-camera media interviews.

Lunch and breaks will be provided by MDARD, and training materials will be provided by KRKM. Please note: the training is limited to the first 35 registrants, so please register early!
