Michigan Family to Family Health Information Center is pleased to offer a new learning opportunity for families of children with disabilities/special health care needs called the Navigating Healthcare Webinar Series. These webinars are short, one hour Zoom calls on various topics of interest. Michigan parents, caregivers, providers, youth, and any other interested individuals are welcome to register for these events.
The first webinar will be April 5th, 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Understanding the Medicaid Children’s Waiver Program. This interactive webinar will cover the basics about the Michigan Medicaid Children’s Waiver Program and include an overview of the Children’s Waiver, how it works, how to apply, and what services may be covered. Our guest speaker will be Mr. Angelo Powell, Specialist, Home and Community Based Service Policy and Implementation at MDHHS.
The webinar will be offered on Zoom and registration is required.
