Substance Use and the Holidays:
Illinois Helpline Webinar
Monday, November 21, 2022

For many people, the end of the year brings images of happy family gatherings, big dinners of turkey and stuffing, holiday music, and cozy fires. For others, the holidays can be a difficult time – a time of family conflict, financial strain, loneliness, grief, and seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

People in recovery, or those who are actively using, may need extra support to manage festive but stressful holiday celebrations. Join the Illinois Helpline for Opioids and Other Substances for a special presentation on Monday, November 21, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm to learn about the Helpline as well as some of the challenges people face during the holidays when they are experiencing or recovering from substance use disorder.

Monday, November 21, 2022
from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm CT

Please register in advance for this event.
