The University of Michigan (U-M) Injury Prevention Center has organized an unique event for researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and students to disseminate research, facilitate new collaborations, and explore ideas for new research in injury prevention science.
Featuring Keynote Speaker: Amy Bohnert, Ph.D., MHS
Dr. Bohnert is a public health researcher who serves as the Opioid Content Lead at the U-M Injury Prevention Center. She is an Associate Professor in the University of Michigan Medical School. The keynote will focus on her innovative injury prevention work on opioid overdose and suicide.
The symposium will emphasize these injury prevention topics:

• Suicide
• Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
• Older Adult Falls
• Motor Vehicle Crash
• Concussion
• Youth Violence (peer violence, dating violence, sexual assault)
