Join the Health Fund for a two-part webinar series that discusses two recent policy changes to support reimbursements for Community Health Worker (CHW) services.

Emily Morris and Natasha Radke from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will explore a new policy providing reimbursements through Medicaid, and Timothy McNeill from Freedmen's Health consulting firm will cover recent policy changes affecting reimbursements through Medicare. Learn about the ins and outs of both payment changes, as well as how they work for social and health care providers and communities.
CHWs are valuable resources for health in communities across our state, linking residents with vital support, information, and connections to care. These new policies provide an opportunity to expand services to improve health in a wide range of ways.
Stay tuned for more info on a second webinar this fall, when we'll hear directly from CHWs on how the policies are working in different care settings and learn about their personal experience with implementation and reimbursements.
