The MDHHS World TB Day Conference is an annual event where we update Michigan's healthcare community on advances in the field of TB prevention and control. It’s also a great time to network and gain access to TB resources. Both nursing and physician continuing education credits will be offered for this event. Registration is $50 per person.

Course Objectives:
Discuss the incidence, etiology and types of chronic pain patients living with HIV, mental illness and/or substance abuse may experience
Identify challenges in the management of physical, psychological and spiritual pain
Describe strategies for initiating and managing long-term pain therapy
Topics include mental health issues across the lifespan in the community.
