Program Assistant- Local Health Services

This position is responsible for providing support for community and statewide planning, trainings, internal projects, teams and other essential activities within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Division of Local Health Services (LHS), and to assist in program support for the Public Health Administration management team and Michigan’s 45 local health departments. The position also requires proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications, as well as excellent spoken and written communications skills. This position requires the ability to work in a high-volume work environment with multiple staff on various projects with little direction.
