Public Health Educator I- Chronic Disease Prevention

This is a professional level public health position in the health education and promotion section with responsibility for organization, development, and implementation of programs and strategies related to chronic disease prevention and other prevention programs. Further program responsibilities include administering the Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Coalition, improving processes for community systems, and promoting community behavior change directed toward priority populations. Knowledge of food systems concepts and priorities are preferred. Duties include work in the Community Wellness Division. This is a non-supervisory position.
