Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) Policy Statements
ASTHO is the national nonprofit organization representing public health agencies in the United States, the U.S. Territories, and the District of Columbia, and over 100,000 public health professionals these agencies employ. ASTHO members, the chief health officials of these jurisdictions, formulate and influence sound public health policy and ensure excellence in state-based public health practice. ASTHO's primary function is to track, evaluate, and advise members on the impact and formation of public or private health policy which may affect them and to provide them with guidance and technical assistance on improving the nation's health.

American Academy of Family Physicians- Vaccines and Advocacy
In order to continue the advantages of immunizations, the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) endorses the concept that all children and adults, regardless of economic and insurance status, should have access to all immunizations recommended by the AAFP. This web page has information vaccination schedules, Immunization registries, improving adult immunizations and immunization coding issues.
American Academy of Pediatrics- Infectious Disease Committee
The AAP has many resources on its website including some new interactive infographics. It also has policy statements on immunization, suggestions for communicating with families, including vaccine-hesitant families practice management and improvement and plenty of other topics.
Infectious Disease Society of America- Immunization
The Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) provides policy statements on immunizations as well as information on vaccine-preventable diseases and antimicrobial resistance.
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
ACOG has a web page dedicated to immunization for women with many resources, including information for pregnant women, toolkits for Tdap and HPV, vaccine safety and influenza. There is also information on immunization coding for Ob/Gyn, algorithms for assessing and treatment pregnant women with flu-like symptoms and much more.
Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists
CSTE is an organization of member states and territories representing public health epidemiologists. CSTE works to establish more effective relationships among state and other health agencies. It also provides technical advice and assistance to partner organizations and to federal public health agencies such as CDC. CSTE members have surveillance and epidemiology expertise in a broad range of areas including occupational health, infectious diseases, environmental health, chronic diseases, injury, maternal and child health, and more. CSTE supports effective public health surveillance and sound epidemiologic practice through training, capacity development, and peer consultation.
- CSTE Vaccine- Preventable Disease Sub-Committee
The CSTE Infectious Disease committee’s sub-committee on vaccine preventable diseases leads CSTE's efforts related to vaccine-preventable disease resources and data collection. Some current topics include HPV and measles.
